Modern version of Goldilocks and the Three Bears
I read Steven Guarnaccia's version of Goldilocks while I was nannying, and the amazing thing about it is that actual product designs are featured. The inside covers have descriptions of the designer items, along with the years they were made. I haven't read The Three Little Pigs yet, but it looks just as awesome.

Philomathy?
Saying 'what kind of an idiot doesn't know about the Yellowstone supervolcano' is so much more boring than telling someone about the Yellowstone supervolcano for the first time.
Right off the bat, I will admit that I'm horrible at writing blogs. I have tried before and failed miserably. However, this blog is intended to be more of a collection of really interesting things I discover, whether they be facts, beliefs, websites, pictures, awesome cloud formations, etc. I would love to be able to share these discoveries, as well as have a place where I can keep track of them.
Philomathy is the practice of a love of learning, which is similar to but separate from philosophy. Yes, I didn't know that the word existed either, but it fits so I'm running with it. And expect to see a lot of xkcd quoted in this blog.
